Dinner for Two
Introducing Dinner for Two
A three-course tasting journey, created in collaboration with our family at Tide to Table.
We’re delighted to release our first dinner event in collaboration with Tide to Table and other producers and distributors of quality products that we love.
We hope that these recipes will inspire you to try something different with amazing, Canadian seafood products.
It’s our philosophy that special meals should be enjoyed but also prepared together. While we’ve provided all of the steps to produce a memorable three course meal below, there is lots of opportunity for adding your own, particular flair and interpretation.
Menu
Portions for two very generous Valentine’s dinners, featuring lox-style salmon and tuna, two PEI lobsters, and truffle mac & cheese. All of this carefully curated, seasoned, and prepared by Quadra Island Chef, Brandon Pirie and Tide to Table, by Walcan Seafood.
Dinner Boxes are delivered to your door anywhere from Quadra Island south to Victoria and Sooke on Vancouver Island, or to Richmond and South Fraser in the Vancouver area.
Each course is ready for you to unpack, heat, garnish and serve.

Next Steps Towards Better Materials
Finding a balance between value, cooling performance and environmental responsibility is challenging. We’re taking another step towards exploring options by working with Genesis Marketing and G2CNC in Campbell River to produce boxes made from Recyclable Materials.
Cris Fletcher at G2 CNC is passionate about quality, performance and delivering a product that speaks to all manner of values. See the unboxing pictures below that show the beautiful boxes developed for this program. If you need a partner who will work with you on closely and iteratively on developing a product, Cris is your guy.
Artwork & Inspiration
Adrian McKerracher is an inspiring and dear friend. His thoughtful words and art have been crucial in helping us articulate the values that drive us. He’s a critical collaborator in the work that we do.
We hope that you enjoyed his artwork throughout the Wild Isle website and this page. He may be making some of the beautiful ocean-themed prints on these pages available in limited prints. Stay tuned!
