We’re delighted to release our third theme-box with our family at Tide to Table. We’ve partnered with a long-time friend and celebrity chef from Vancouver, Chef Spencer Watts, to celebrate fresh summer flavours for the grill, featuring BC-sourced wild seafood. Sauces, spice rubs and hand-packed prawn planks are made right here on Quadra Island and in Vancouver. Get to know your neighbours. We promise you won’t be disappointed!
Also, did you know that Dad’s Root Beer is headquartered out of Campbell River? One of our dearest friends whose also involved in producing the incredible boxes that we use manages operations right here in BC!

Spencer is a larger than life character. We met when competing in the 2012 Culinary Olympics and he has absolutely blown up since then.
He has hosted several internationally aired cooking shows and won James Beard awards for two of them (the culinary equivalent of The Oscars).
His enthusiasm shines through on and off the camera. Putting this special BBQ box together with him has been a great pleasure and a wonderful way to catch up with an old friend.

a stunning & performant box
Finding a balance between value, cooling performance and environmental responsibility is challenging. We’re exceptionally grateful for the ongoing exploration of options with Cris Fletcher and his talented team at Genesis Marketing and G2CNC in Campbell River. Each box has been hand-made in Campbell River by Cris and his team, from recycled cardboard.
