Herb Marinated Sockeye Salmon Skewers

Prep time: 15 minutes

Serves: 4 people

Fast Prep: Cook from frozen

  1. Preheat one side of BBQ to 350F. 

  2. Grill skewers directly on a piece of parchment paper or tinfoil placed on the hot side of the BBQ. Start with the prettiest side down to ensure best presentation when done. Cook with lid down for 4-5 minutes.

  3. Flip skewers and baste with lime baste using a brush or just pouring it on top. Move skewers and parchment/foil over to cool side of grill and put the lid on about 5 minutes until just cooked through.

  4. Enjoy while they’re hot!

Chef’s tip: spraying skewers with some non-stick spray before grilling ensures success every time.

Or thaw ahead & BBQ

  1. Thaw in fridge overnight.

  2. Preheat one side of BBQ to 350F.

  3. Grill skewers directly on a piece of parchment paper or tinfoil placed on the hot side of the BBQ for 1 minute. Start with the prettiest side down to ensure best presentation when done.

  4. Flip skewers and baste with lime baste using a brush or just pouring it on top. Move skewers and parchment/foil over to cool side of grill and put the lid on about 1 minute until just cooked through.
